A brand new drama about the rivalries and political differences that can tear a family apart.
Welcome to The Winter Garden Theater. It’s November, 1864. Abraham Lincoln has just been elected to a second term as President. The Civil War that has been raging for more than three years is nearing its end.
Legendary stage actor Edwin Booth gathers his brothers for a one-night-only performance of Julius Caesar.
As they prepare for the show, Edwin senses that the personal and political differences between himself and his younger brother John Wilkes are deeper than he appreciates, and more dangerous than he realizes.
Long-held resentments rise to the surface, as Edwin races to reconcile the volatile relationship and dispel the gathering shadows that threaten to destroy the family legacy and his life’s work.
